The STEM with Robotics Program is recommended to be implemented as a standalone program, provided that the school can spare additional time. The Program is implemented at least 1 hour a week or more.

Yes. Our program offers a content which aims to develop STEM learning. The content of our program is designed to learn from the simplest lesson up to the complex lesson. Students in the primary level start from the basics of building where they can learn counting and measurement using the different parts included on the robot kits. They are also introduced in the basic use of computers as a foundation in learning programming.
The STEM with Robotics curriculum was developed from researches generated by Carnegie Mellon Robotics Academy (CMRA), part of the School of Computer Science in Carnegie Mellon University. It is one of the STEM Solutions provided by Robomatter Inc., which was founded in 2003 by Robin Shoop, Director of the CMRA.

The program will enhance student’s skills particularly with their Computational Thinking skills.

The ratio of kits/units with the student is 4:1. We group the students to 4 because the program promotes 21st century learning skills. It promotes collaboration and give emphasis to students that they cannot work alone in the real world. Students are assigned to different roles such as Programmer, Project Manager, Journalist, and Builder/Designer which rotates from time to time. Each student will get a chance to assume all roles depends on the progress of the class.
Yes! However, should the school decide to use their own hardware, FEI will not shoulder the maintenance and insurance of the hardware.
As we go on with the 21st century we don't have printed materials or books. Instead we provide access to the learning management system. This is to promote paperless materials. The LMS contains all the materials and resources needed by both teachers and students.
Yes. This is to make regular update on the software that we are using in the program. Update can be done, on a weekly basis.
Our LMS is normally set up using a cloud-based server. However, due to the instability of the internet connection in our country, putting it on the cloud might be a challenge. As a solutions provider, we come up with an offline set up for our LMS. wherein students can access the LMS inside the laboratory.
For Grades 1-10, we provide 1 teacher per laboratory who will handle a maximum of 20 hours of actual teaching class per week. Classes that exceeds beyond the 20 hours will be handled by the identified teacher of the school.
There will be 3 levels of training; Basic, Intermediate and Advance. Each level of training requires 5 days of face to face intensive training. Training to be undergone by the teacher will depend on the courses to be implemented every year. Training details and process will be explained to you by our Assigned Product Specialist.
The school can send 1 teacher to be trained as part of the package that we offer. Teacher training cost USD300 per head. Should the school wish to have their teachers trained, they will need to pay for the cost of training for the additional teachers.
